What?
- BULLSEYE is a new and interactive Fire simulation fire fighting Digital Fire Extinguisher Training System
Why?
- Fire Extinguisher training may be required for all staff and floor fire wardens as part of your training requirements.
- The Bulls eye system can be used inside without water; reducing time away from work areas. Training in work areas will increase the relevance to staff members.
- Training more staff than required in fire Extinguisher may be of benefit for accreditation and overall safety.
- Traditional fire extinguisher training uses fuels which produce smoke on combustion and increase risk to staff members and environment.
The Bullseye system uses advanced laser technology to simulate the discharge of a dry-chemical or CO2 extinguisher for a completely clean, safe and effective training experience. Training can now take place completely indoors, in the actual work environment. Laser driven extinguisher training system fire extinguisher training without the mess.
- CLEAN: Bullseye uses a conical laser to replicate extinguisher discharge rather than depending on a dry-chemical or CO2 extinguisher. For training variation, the Bullseye system can also be used with the standard air/water smart extinguisher.
SAFE: Relies on LED driven digital flames and a laser extinguisher, eliminating any hazards associated with traditional extinguisher training

TRAINING STANDARDS
- To initiate and maintain a high standard of training, it is necessary that all employees, trainers, assessors and consultants be aware of the company’s expectations with regard to the delivery of training.
- PARASOL EMT is committed to Best Practice in training and the development of national competency standards as proposed by the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
- The training products developed and provided by the company will be in accordance with Best Practice competency standards, industry standards, and requisite government legislation, codes and standards as required.
- Training programs and training resources are to be maintained to a high standard, and any deterioration in standard is to be brought to the attention of PARASOL EMT head office as soon as is practicable, and remedial action affected.
STANDARDS
- Trainers employed, licensed or contracted by the company will be in possession of qualifications deemed suitable by the Board of Directors. Trainers presenting PARASOL EMT training products are expected to be of a uniformly high standard in industry experience, instructional ability and personal presentation.
Warden Training
Course Content WER-005
- Warden covers the knowledge and skills to:
- Respond to emergency reports, signals and warnings;
- Initiate and controlling initial emergency response;
- Anticipate the further development of emergencies; and
- Assist with post initial response.
The content also covers the key points of learning specified for Floor or Area Wardens, Deputies and Wardens training specified in Australian Standard 3745 (2002), incorporating Amendment No 1 (May 2004), Emergency Control Organisation and Procedures for Buildings, Structures and Workplaces.
In particular this includes:
Role and responsibilities of an ECO;
- Emergency response training, exercises and assessment;
- Communication during emergencies;
- Responding to alarms and reports of emergencies;
- Procedures for specific emergencies;
- Initiating emergency alarms;
- Evacuation activities;
- Post-evacuation activities; and
- Human behaviour in emergencies.
First Attack Fire Fighting Course Information
Course Content WER-008 (Fire)
First Attack Firefighting covers the knowledge and skills to:
- Prepare for fire emergency situations;
- Identify and assess fire situations;
- Safely confine fire emergencies where possible;
- Use initial response (first attack firefighting) equipment; and
- Report workplace fire response.
